This is what it means to be rich.

Anyone who has a beautiful dog like that should feel rich in all the things that matter.

You don’t need socks when you put hundred dollar bills in your shoes

That looks like my first dog, Countess. I barely remember her, but my parents tell me the was a saint. She let me pull her ears, climb over her, and never made a squeak. She was dognapped one day.

A clown shoe Z3? If they were rich it would be a 525i wagon.

The rich deserve all of the torn subframes.

Missing from Z3 image: quarts of oil.

Or a leash for that dog.

Do Z3Ms have a history of torn subframes? Pray tell – I understood the E30 rear suspension (which is what the Z3 has) was much beefier than the multilink one in the E36.

Afaik, yes, the clown shoe suffered torn subframes as well. Used to have a lady on a Honda site I used to frequent that auto-x’d her z3m constantly, and she had to unload it after it ripped itself apart because she put off adding reinforcements.
I’m not an authority on the subject however, so take it with a grain of salt.

Thanks a lot! Sounds fascinating. Obviously the Z3M was not as strongly built as the old E30s then.

I still want one though, pretty badly actually, every time I see one.
Z4m is a sexy beast too.

Same here. BMW was really quite brave to put the Z3M on the market. It cannot be accused of being beautiful , but it has lots of character.
Unfortunately Z4s – in any shape or form – do not move me at all.

I didn’t think much of the z4 until I met a guy with a z4m and got to see it up close. I began appreciating it a bit more after that. Still prefer the looks of the z3 variant though. Batmobile-esque.

Maybe some day I’ll get it, I dunno. I admit it is very different, but to my eyes, the wrong kind different, at least for now.
Time does weird things to objects, and to cars in particular. I used to utterly dislike the 8-series, but to me it has now become an extremely handsome car (even if I still think the concept was entirely wrong – a rare faux pas by the almighty Reitzle).

Yep, sounds like a goldie.
